The problem

Sound familiar?

What gets in the way for contractors — and what Exa is built to fix.

Missed calls are missed jobs

When you're on a roof or under a sink, the phone goes to voicemail and the homeowner calls someone else.

Estimates go out and then nothing happens

Following up on every quote takes time you don't have, so good jobs quietly slip away.

You don't know what's in the pipeline

Without a clear view of open bids, it's hard to plan crews, materials and cash flow.

A day with Exa

What a better day looks like for contractors

  1. 7:15 AM

    Missed call? Not missed.

While you're on a roof, the AI receptionist answers, qualifies the job and books a site visit.

  2. 10:00 AM

    Site visit on the calendar

The visit lands in your availability without double-booking and syncs to Google Calendar.

  3. 1:30 PM

A quote from your price book

Build line items, discounts and tax from your price book and send a quote the homeowner signs online.

  4. 4:00 PM

    Estimate follow-up on autopilot

When a deal moves to Estimate sent, an automation schedules the follow-up so you never have to remember.

  5. 6:30 PM

    Accepted, invoiced, synced

Accepted quotes convert to an invoice in one click, and payments sync with QuickBooks Online.

How Exa helps

Workflows built for contractors

1

AI receptionist that books site visits

Inbound calls are answered by a voice agent that captures the project, address and timeline, then books an estimate visit on your calendar.

2

Quotes customers sign online

Build the estimate from your price book with line items, discounts and tax. The customer gets a branded PDF and a link to accept with a typed-name e-signature — and the deal is marked won.

3

Estimate follow-up on autopilot

When a deal moves to "Estimate sent", Exa waits a couple of days, sends a friendly follow-up and creates a task if there's no reply.

4

Bids, values and forecast in one board

Drag jobs through your stages, flag deals that go quiet, and see weighted revenue by month.

5

Invoice in one click

Convert the accepted quote into an invoice with due dates and overdue tracking, record full or partial payments as they come in, and sync it all to QuickBooks Online.

6

Your schedule wherever you are

Two-way Google Calendar sync and a private calendar feed put site visits on the phone you already carry. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.

Can homeowners sign quotes online?

Yes. Quotes open on a hosted page where customers can download the PDF and accept with a typed-name e-signature or decline.

Can Exa take payments from customers?

No. Exa tracks invoices, due dates and the payments you record, and syncs with QuickBooks Online, but it doesn't process card or ACH payments.

Will Exa follow up on estimates for me?

Yes. An automation can send a follow-up and create a task when a deal moves to your Estimate sent stage, with consent and quiet hours respected.

Is there a mobile app for the job site?

Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon. Until then, two-way Google Calendar sync or the private calendar feed puts your schedule on your phone's calendar.
